Teh Stoopid! It burns!

"Keep your government hands off my Medicare" is an oldie but a goodie...but is it the dumbest soundbite yet in the health care debate? Not even close. I give to you:

People such as scientist Stephen Hawking wouldn't have a chance in the U.K., where the National Health Service would say the life of this brilliant man, because of his physical handicaps, is essentially worthless.

Words fail me.

Wow.... That is really special.

Ghandi wouldn't have had a chance if he was in India. The peasants would have told him non-violence would never work...

A guy like Barack Obama coudl never become president if he lived in the US and was bound by their electoral laws

what!?

Why is the US incabaple of having anything but irrational zero sum and completely false conversations about policy with itself? I thought Canada was getting bad but the medicare debate raging in the US right now is really just flabberghasting.

Cheers,
